Describing a steep learning curve, Pramod, within a very short period of about 2 years, found himself to be a Claims Head. Seeing his extraordinary propensity to absorb the learning necessary to navigate the serpentine and cavernous route of insurance claims, it was Mr. Das who suggested Pramod to form his own agency, being fully cognizant of the fact that he would be losing an industrious employee. Pramod, the ever adventurous, wanted to take up Mr Das' advice yet was rightfully apprehensive of the future. It was then Jhony, who, in his mien of continued mentorship, further encouraged Pramod to not only take the plunge but assured that should he fail, his job will always be waiting for him. Six months hence, Pramod commenced his journey as an independent LIC agent himself from June 2017 in the shape of PS Insurance Services, the homage in the nomenclature being of no coincidence. Hard work soared up the wings of adventure as PS Insurance Services, qualified for the MDRT (The Million Dollar Round Table in the 2017-2018 financial year. Mr Das might have provided him with training but all of the clients from Day 1 were generated by Pramod himself. Within a short period of 5 years, PS Insurance Services had been providing broad-spectrum insurance consultancy to more than 5000 families. An extremely efficient agency, there are only 5 employees, but zero-day delay in Claim Settlements, and zero complaints in customer satisfaction.

Insurance is more than just a business for Pramod. It’s become his life’s passion. To improve himself in his domain he reads books and listens to podcasts on insurance that will help him serve his customers even better. He has undertaken about 65 training workshops on insurance and sales techniques since 2017 averaging 2-3 numbers a month including a basic six months insurance product training with Zaidi Corporation (Kazim's Institute of Leadership) in 2019 and 50-week Sales Mastery Training Programme from Rajesh Tagore of Leader Factory in 2021-22 among others. He also indulges in social work as a natural extension of helping others. His spare time if there be any is spent by rummaging through spiritual books and spending time with his family – his wife, Seema Yadav and son, Akarsh. Special mention must be made about his doting nature, after all the PS in PS insurance stands for Pramod and Seema.
